Route-first shelves: perfume, watches and electronics
For these shelves, check the route list for your country before you look at the photo. A perfect bottle that no line will carry is still stuck in Xiamen.
When goods reach the UIDBuy warehouse, staff set mailing restrictions based on what the item is. When you later submit a parcel, the system filters the route list by those restrictions. If nothing is left, the help center's answer is a "View Reason" button on the parcel page, and a contact with customer service if you think the restriction is wrong. If UIDBuy agrees to change it, you carry the risk.
That sequence is why these three shelves are grouped by route first. Inspection photos still help, but they cannot tell you whether a watch battery, a perfume bottle or a pair of wireless headphones will be allowed on the line you wanted.

Perfume: the route decides before the photo does
A bottle photo shows the box, the cap and the fill level, and that is about it. The more important check happens when you submit a parcel: liquids carry mailing restrictions, and the system only offers routes that accept them.
UIDBuy's help center suggests liquids and medicines stay under about a tenth of a parcel's contents, and its US economy line description lists liquids, powders and pastes as forbidden. Look at the route list for your country before you buy a bottle, not after it is in the warehouse.

Watches: a battery is a shipping question
Watch photos show the dial, the bracelet and the case back. Whether the movement keeps time is not part of a visual inspection.
A watch with a battery may be marked with a mailing restriction when it reaches the warehouse, which narrows your route choices. If a route list comes back empty, UIDBuy's help center points you to the "View Reason" button on the parcel page.

Electronics: checked by eye, never switched on
UIDBuy's inspection scope says electronics are only checked for outside appearance and complete accessories; inspectors do not power them on, and sealed boxes are not opened to count parts.
That makes the seller's reputation and return policy more important than the photo. Buy from stores with a clear return window, keep the original packaging, and expect battery-powered items to have fewer route options.

Checking the route list before the item exists
You do not need an item in the warehouse to see which lines serve your country. UIDBuy's public estimation page takes a country, a weight and an item category and returns the routes it would offer, with prices, delivery windows and labels. Our route sampler holds a dated copy of what that page returned for a one-kilogram parcel to seven countries, if you want a quick look first.
Two habits help on these shelves. Buy restricted items in a parcel of their own when you can, so one bottle does not limit the routes for everything else. And when a route list does come back short, read the reason the system gives before you ask anyone to override it.
