UIDBuy Spreadsheet FAQ
Short answers to what new UIDBuy buyers ask most often, frequently asked by people coming from the shelves on this site. Longer explanations are linked from each topic page.
- Is this site run by UIDBuy?
- No. It is an independent guide with catalog shelves. UIDBuy does not run, review or pay for it, and we have no referral code with UIDBuy.
- Do I need an account to see shipping prices?
- No. UIDBuy's estimation page works without logging in. You need an account to buy, to see inspection photos and to submit parcels.
- Can UIDBuy buy from Weidian as well as Taobao and 1688?
- Taobao, 1688 and Weidian logos sit inside UIDBuy's search box, and its page title lists all three. The beginner guide only promises link capture for Taobao, Tmall and 1688. If a Weidian link fails, ask support before you give up on it.
- How many free QC photos will I get?
- UIDBuy's pages say 3 to 5, usually 3, and 3 to 7 in different places. Expect three. Detailed photos cost 1 RMB each if you want more.
- Is there a service fee on purchases?
- The help center says the purchasing service is free; the registration agreement describes 8% on goods and on shipping. Check the fee lines on your own order page before paying. The fees page covers both.
- Is there a time limit on stored items?
- 90 days for items UIDBuy bought for you and 60 days for forwarded parcels, counted from the stored date, according to the storage policy. After that they are treated as abandoned.
- What if my parcel is late?
- UIDBuy's delay rule refunds 20% of the international shipping fee you actually paid if delivery takes more than 30 calendar days from dispatch, with exclusions listed in the policy.
- Can I return an item I don't like?
- Within 120 hours of the item being stocked in, UIDBuy will ask the seller about a return or exchange. The seller decides, some goods are excluded, and you may pay return postage.
- Which payment methods work?
- PayPal, credit cards, Google Pay and a prepaid balance are named in the help center. The payment page may show more depending on your country.
- Why does my card payment say Verifying?
- Some payment methods trigger a check. Still unchanged after a day? Check your inbox for a request for documents; with no reply in 72 hours the order can be cancelled and refunded.
- Do the links on this site go to a shop?
- The shelf tiles and the search box lead to a product catalog of marketplace listings, not to a store. You buy by copying a listing's marketplace link into UIDBuy.
- Why are some shelf prices in yuan?
- Chinese marketplaces price in yuan. The sample prices on our shelf pages are what the catalog showed on October 23, 2026, before domestic delivery and international freight.
- Can UIDBuy ship to Australia?
- Its estimator returned no line for a one-kilogram parcel to Australia when we checked on October 22, 2026. Heavier parcels or other categories may differ, so run your own weight through the estimator.
- Where can I watch how UIDBuy works?
- UIDBuy's official walkthrough video is on our guide page. It is hosted by UIDBuy and only loads when you press play.
